Hey there! We’re Jenser and Jake from Evolver Fitness, and we’ve got something important to share with you. As business owners who launched Evolver Fitness during a global pandemic, we understand the challenges life throws at you. Whether it’s the stress of building a business from the ground up or helping a 68-year-old client with neuropathy – who once needed a cane just to walk – conquer the heights of Machu Picchu, we’ve learned a thing or two about personal growth, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of goals.

With over 18 years of fitness experience, JP brings a unique blend of passion, discipline, and versatility to the Evolver Fitness team. His journey into fitness began at 16 while competing in the Amateur National Motocross circuit, where strength training gave him the edge he needed for better bike control and endurance.
What started as functional training has evolved into a lifelong commitment to fitness excellence. JP’s diverse athletic background includes competitive Kickboxing, Muay Thai, marathon running, hockey, and continues to fuel his approach to coaching. This multidisciplinary experience allows him to create versatile training programs that adapt to each client’s unique needs and goals.
JP’s coaching philosophy centers on sustainability and consistency. “Everyone starts somewhere,” he emphasizes. “Focus less on intensity and duration at the beginning of your journey. The main goal is to make exercise a sustainable and enjoyable habit that brings you benefits for years to come.”
Family is at the core of JP’s motivation. His wife Vanina and their two sons inspire his dedication to fitness and exemplify the values he brings to his coaching: happiness, hard work, and kindness. He credits his wife as a “superhero” whose commitment to fitness through two pregnancies demonstrates that fitness goals truly are limitless.
When not training clients, JP enjoys running, playing hockey, practicing martial arts, and producing music. His eclectic music taste ranges from Rock and Metal to Electronic, reflecting his dynamic personality.

I still remember the day when five push-ups felt like an impossible task. Like many, I started working out because I was tired of feeling out of shape and never feeling good enough. But as I began my fitness journey, I discovered something unexpected. It wasn’t just the physical transformation that got me hooked – it was the mental shift. With every rep, and every drop of sweat, I gained more than just muscle; I gained confidence, focus, and a renewed sense of self.
This newfound passion led me to pursue a degree in exercise science, where I learned that fitness isn’t just about the body – it’s about the mind, too. Each workout became a lesson in consistency, discipline, and grit, qualities that soon began to influence every aspect of my life.
I’ve been on both sides of the spectrum – overweight and skinny – and I understand the mental struggle that comes with each. I keep photos of my past self to remind me how far I’ve come, especially on days when motivation wanes.
Beyond the gym, my life is rich with experiences that keep me grounded and balanced. From savoring my favorite Haitian dishes to losing myself in a good basketball game, watching Anime, or even finding peace in meditation. My love for music varies with the moment – metal and rock fuel my workouts, while the introspective beats of J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar are my go-to for relaxation.
For me, fitness is simple: show up. Whether you’re at 30%, 10%, or 70% of your best, what matters is that you give everything you’ve got. The results will always follow. My mission is to help you find that same strength within, to make fitness a sustainable and fulfilling part of your life, just as it has become for me.
